Ironside said:marc2003 i have a 410 watt 23amp 12v rail
I wouldn't, because my X1900XT is running fine on 29A and the X1950Pro uses about 60W (~5A?) less.2Thumbs said:That might be pushing it. I'd recommend at least a 28amp rail/s.

This PSU used to also run a Newcastle 3400+, 2GB DDR400 and an X1800XT @ 730/900 (and X1900XT @ XT-X) too. Not to mention the hard disks and multitude of crap (LED fans, cold cathode tubes, etc.) I had in that PC at the time.snowdog said:Ulfhedjinn:
True, but you have a core 2 duo, wich uses 60 or was it 65 watts on stock, a prescott uses 90 watts...
You have ddr 2, wich uses less power than the ddr 1 all socket 478 boards use.
