HIS x1950

Got the HIS ATI Radeon X1950 Pro ICEQ 3 TURBO SILENT Heatpipe 256MB installed and I've downloaded the latest drivers for it - however I seem to be getting some weird graphics bugs, in particular with water type effects in some games.

Everything else seems ok though. Am I missing something or is this harking back to the old Geforce 4 days when a lot of people were using older drivers like 66.93s or whatever for artifact free gaming? :S

Will do when I get home... but I'll describe it in one game (CoH)... the water effect works fine up until halfway up the screen... abvoe that it's not being rendered... eg:
