hitachi 3tb hard drive

got a new shinny hitachi 3tb hard drive but it only shows 349 gig ? why any suggustions plz.. i have formatted the drive and its still the same..

And how is the drive connected to the PC?

Internally via SATA, externally (USB 2.0, USB 3.0, eSATA)?

Try installing the Intel RST Drivers:

Try setting the disk up as a GPT drive.

thanks for the reply mate i got it up to 199tb now and theres 746.52 in unallocated space is there any way to get this back .??
