hitachi feature tool - can anyone send it to me

hi

im looking for the hitachi feature tool and i cant seem to get the hitachi website to load so it must be down, i want to try and quieten my raptor's grinding noise, i would like the cd version as i dont have a floppy drive installed, can it be emailed or is it too big?

the raptor was in a s/h htpc i bought and the raptor is a bit noisey when reading and writing data, if it does not get quieter i shall just sell it and use a 7200 drive.

I didn't know that you could use the Hitachi tool for WD raptors.

just an update, the feature tool did not make any difference to the noise of the raptor. it worked on the 7200rpm seagate 160gb, but that did not need adjusted so i left it alone.

so looks like i will be selling or swapping the 40gb raptor and installing the o/s on a 7200 hdd. will windows run much slower on a 7200 hdd?

Somehow the Raptors seek noise can't be turned down, it looks like it works but noise remains.
