First this then my 120gb secondary drive is giving the click-of-death. It's not my week, is it?:(

Luckily I have a fairly recent backup. But I'd appreciate any possible fixes, before I slam it in the freezer, whack it and slam it - before I dismantle it. :p

Not desperate, because of the backup I'm currently restoring - but would be nice.

Oh - if anybody has any grudges: Please...I've had enough now. :(:p

It was the Hitachi Deskstar IC35L120AVV207-1 drive, dated June 2003.

I wouldn't care, it was great until I took it out of 24/7 operation.

I hope my 400gb doesn't drop dead now.

Thats sounds like a GXP 120, I had a couple of those in 60 gig flavour, sold them to Benherble on MM, wonder if they are still going ??
