looking at 160gb-200gb, any other brands like maxtor or seagate i will take. Which one you guys recommend

Mav, stop posting tripe. You obviously know nothing about Hitachi - IBM produced two models, the GXP60 and GXP75 and these were the deathstars - do you even know the reason why? There was a flaw with the bearings/head system used and as a result, lots failed. This was fixed a very long time ago. Stop making me have to correct you in every thread. You have little knowledge of HDU's and yet post misinformation in every thread where a Hitachi is mentioned. It might even amount to spamming. Hitachi drives are of very high quality and IBM have nothing to do with hard drives anymore.Cyber-Mav said:go for reliability, the deathstars are world renoun for high failure rate.
