Am i right in remembering that there is a tool that enables SATA-II features for this drive.. i.e. 3Gb/s?

I've already started using the drive..? That taht mean i will have to reformat the drive and/or loose the data I have on it?

1) yes. if you download the "feature tool" from the hitachi site.
2) nope, it should be fine.
