Hitatchi Feature Tool option?

Do i need to enable 'Spread Spectrum Clocking' when enabling SATAII using the Hitachi Feature Tool?

Any other recommended performance settings (gaming rig, not bothered about noise) would be much appreciated.

well excuse me while i re-hijack it

I have made my feature-tool diskette but even though i have followed the instructions to the letter, my PC when reset with the diskette in floppy drive, doesn't load up the DOS feature tool, just boots up as normal?

My BIOS settings are as follows:

First Bootable: [Hard Disk]
Second Bootable: [CD-ROM]
Third Bootable: [Removable]
Boot Up Floppy Seek: [Enabled]

Any help would again be appreciated...

i suspected as much but i thought 'Boot Up Floppy Seek' would be for the purpose of booting from floppy if a diskette was present Thanks anyway.
