Hitman 3 VR (PC) - Out On January 20th

When does it show up or should I saw how do you access it ? Just comparing it to Steam - Hitman VR is actually listed but if you look at it on gamepass its not listed when you look at Hitman 3.

(it must have been busy earlier as the download kept failing so I gave up)
After u start the game theres a menu u eventually get to, one of the menu choices is "play in vr" or something like that, select it and voila youre in vr.

Found it an unbelieveable crap experience for a £10 game nevermind the £50 I paid. Body would twist independantly of the arms, constantly requiring recentering, mapping of the quest controls to functionality made no sense at all (just as an example, who the hell decides to use the left and right trigger to move between menu options instead of one of the joysticks), ran at about 5 fps on my setup, literally it was move....wait for movement to start. First several goes it wouldn't even go into VR mode "hit enter to continue" but none of the controls would continue, and neither would enter on the keyboard. No ability to make it left-handed, hows that for an immersive experience, you must learn to use stuff with the hand you don't normally use.

awful

First time I requested a steam refund, which they did within 30 mins.

Had a go with this last night and it reminded me of a comedy sketch. There was no teleport mode which I could see and this put me off as I`m not too keen with smooth on rails movement. On the first test mission on the boat I walked upto the guy with the white hat next to the car looked at my arms and they were all weird and rubbery, so I tango slapped the guy and my arms looked like Mr Tickle and the guy in white was like a rubber ball bouncing about. He then ran off. So I went over to the two guards and tango slapped one of them and they just bounced about, managed to get free and shot me.

So took a different approach this time and got on the boat. Saw a couple of guests walk through a closed door. Then I walked upto a guest just to see if I could pinch the drink in their hand but my hand got wedged in the glass and the guest then proceeded to drag me round the deck. I then quit as the motion had got to me a bit.

However it has made me want to play the whole game again in good ol' 2D so maybe this is the reason behind the poor VR mode.

10/10 vr GOTY right there!

Can't even get this to work in VR using the gamepass version, just get a black screen.

Also don't see the setting to enable VR!!
I didn't see it at 1st but its there. Start the game and look through the various menus, iirc its about 2nd from the left most menu item (the menu items are fairly large rectangular red boxes). I didn't like the vr version of the game, it was blurry and very janky.

Yeah its the 2nd from the left next to Campaign I think says VR Enable I think.

Also cant mod the Xbox GamePass version too. However been playing it again in 2D and having more fun. Just doing more stuff now like pushing NPC's off balconies and watching them just take them away and pile the body bags up. Chucking them down the lift shaft etc.

Dartmoor next.

VR is just a very bad mod. Problem is they have not optimised it for VR as with it you can try and do more stuff than you can with the normal 2d version and it breaks the engine. So for instance when you bump into people in 2D it kind of knocks them but you get passed. In VR because you control your arms you can actually kind of cajole and push them along and they get stuck on objects or you push them off the boat and they just dangle their in mid air as there is no animation for pushing off a boat as you normally do this as part of the drag and dispose.

Tangoing a NPC is still hilarious though someone needs to do a video and create a Tango advert.
