Release: January 21st 2021
Digital Platform: Epic Store

I was about to pre order, love 1 and 2, but being an epic exclusive, I'll wait for it to come to steam.

Looks like more of the same, which is no bad thing. I'm only just over 20 hours into Hitman 2 (with the Hitman 1 DLC), so I'll most likely get this a long way down the road when it's discounted as a bundle as I did with this one. No intention of giving Epic any of my money either.

I enjoyed both 1 and 2, but I wish they'd drop the episodic format and all the superfluous online junk. A more condensed and focused experience would be better imo. Still, I'll likely end up playing it at some point.

Enjoyed 1, and just bought 2. Will probably pick 3 up in a sale next year.

Long time Hitman fan and I like the direction they've taken with this 'series'.

I was hoping to get Hitman 3 on Steam because I have the other two on that platform and if they add VR Support to the PC version then it makes sense to keep it on there but I now know it's exclusive to the Epic store for 12 months.

Does anyone know how Hitman 3 will integrate your progress from the previous game?

Hitman 2 didn't really integrate any progress from the previous game, so I basically ended up doing all the missions again from Episode 1. Some of those missions unlocked useful gadgets and weapons (Like the Sieger 300 Ghost)

I was remarkably pumped for Hitman 3... Until I saw it's not integrated or including of the previous 2 games through Steam. I'm gonna wait for Epic to release their filthy claws on it and it comes to steam.

Really enjoyed 1 and 2 and very tempted to get 3 straight away, but will try hold out for Steam. Not that it matters I guess really. (I give myself a few days hah)

I didnt actually mind the initial episodic style release though for 1. It forced me into replaying and retrying things rather than just rush through so got quite good scores on most levels. Mumbai, Paris, and Marakesh were probably my favourite maps.

Nope, it carries over all content from the previous games and your progression from the second one.

Seems not.

Console gamers get access to the previous content for free, but because Hitman 2 isn't available on EGS (bafflingly) you'll need to pay for the access pass (with an 80% discount).

Glad I didn't pre-order now, I was really keen to support them but I'm not paying for something that should have been free.

Have 1&2 on Steam and love both but I won't support this, especially with stuff not carrying over. I'll get 3 when it comes to Steam in a year and Epic can go and eat one.
