Hitman 3

Hitman 2 game wise is better than Hitman 3 and I dont see much difference graphics wise between the two. I would say arguably Hitman 2 has better looking levels.

I played Hitman 3 Dubai level and was impressed with the gameplay so bought Hitman 1 and 2 which haven’t disappointed gameplay wise. Graphically they look similar to 3 so not that great but it’s very light on the gpu so can’t complain.

Thanks. I just got mastery in Dubai. Really enjoying it. Will definitely consider the other 2 just wary it may get a little samey with so much content. Took me 10 hours to complete Dubai. Will see how Dartmoor plays out.

Yay. I've got all the hitmen into my Hitman 3 account. Does that mean I can uninstall the steam versions now? Not sure if the import procedure just unlocks it for Epic Games Store and it will need to redownload anything or if it was included in the Hitman 3 install in the first place and is now just unlocked?
If I can remove the steam version that'll free up a fair few gigs of data.

EDIT: Yup, all deleted and still playable. Must be included in the Hitman 3 codebase already.

Yes all 3 combined should now sit at 100gb.

Never got into Hitman! thought it was terrible.

In fairness, when I first purchased Hitman 1 (2016)
I didn't fully understand the game, its intricacies and nuances. I thought it was a run and gun game, shoot the targets in the head, and escape.
What a boring game that was... I even stopped playing for a while.

But I eventually done more reading, watched a few tutorials and kill everyone challenges. :D

Then it came to me, that it was an infinity replayable sandbox shooting game, just like Kerbal Space Program; And I was hooked.

Hitman and its sequels, are an incredible game of trial and error, and mass murder simulation..
  • Why don't I try dropping that chandelier.
  • Or poison the family Spaghetti Bolognase.
  • Dress up as the golf instructor and swap out the normal golf ball, with an explosion one.
  • Drop a gas canister down a chimney.
  • Blow up the targets with a cannon.
  • Electrify that innocent puddle, the target is standing in.
The list goes, for just that one sleepy village. And if all else fails, just go on a rampage. :o

On Steam, sometimes on sale.

And I never got into Hitman and I mean the first game Hitman: Codename 47 from 2000 from and the later games (not talking the reboots), no need to give big spiel I just could not get into them.

Anyone have any idea what I need to buy to be able to continue playing Hitman 1 & 2 levels inside of Hitman 3 on Steam? I have them both, think I have the full versions; I have Patient Zero from 1 and the New York and Maldives levels from 2, I can currently play the 1st levels inside of Hitman 2 no problem.

Even after reading it ten times I'm still confused, either that or just incensed that what I've got in my cart for the full Hitman experience has come out at £136.

As I understand it, if I just buy the stand £50 Hitman 3 I won't be able to play all the levels via 3 and will have to open 2 to play them, and won't have all the Hitman 3 content such as the 7 deadly sins contracts,

Just played this today as saw it on Gamepass.

Anyway, how do people play games like this? The menus before you even get in the game are cluttered/confusing, Options is hidden away in the far right, then when you're in game, it's moved to the left, the engine optimisation des not seem that great, even though the FPS counter shows over 60fps, it feels more like 45fps, and that's with DLSS, the CPU usage is basically 1 or 2% and that's with RT/DLSS etc all on and everything on Ultra too. Graphically it didn't look that great, character models were poorly defined/lacking in detail and the only impressive parts seem to be the raytraced reflections off shiny surfaces.

If I had paid full price for this I would have been severely disappointed. Compared to games with menus and mechanics that are superbly thought out and super quick to navigate (Days Gone, Doom Eternal, Prodeus, Res Evil remakes to name a few) this felt like it was designed by developers who don't actually use the product they develop.

Just my 2p :p

Currently playing world of assisinations and loving it...question though as I dont want to go through a whole level to find I did it wrong...

For the silent assasin achivements:
  • Complete the mission.
  • Only kill targets.
  • No bodies found.
  • Do not get spotted.
  • If you are detected by cameras, erase or destroy the evidence.
  • Do it all in your suit.
For 'do not get spotted', if you kill the person who spotted you is that ok or is it classed as a fail?

For 'do it all in your suit', does that mean you have to use the standard agent47 suit, or can you do it with the default starting clothing for that level, like casual suit, tactical suit, the japanise robe thing on Hokkaido etc?

Thanks
