Hitman Absolution Pre-Order.

This game is gorgeous. Just gone through the train station, and the number of characters on the screen and the lighting were incredible. I it is performing very well too on what I would consider a midrange system.

The disguise system is awkward, but I am getting the hang of it. Managed to get through the train station without using any instinct just by turning around, and breaking line of sight when suspicious.

Is my game the only one where it's impossible to get out of being detected?! :(

Ah yeah, im on Hard, it's impossible not to be detected when you're within about 20m of someone in their sight, even if you're walking away!
 
My opinion seems to be the opposite of this thread.

i think performance is great and the game looks amazing ( one of the best looking games released)

Gameplay wise though, it is a mess.

I would sort of agree, wouldn't say it's a mess completely, its rough in some aspects though...

Strange, the geforce site uses US servers and the site you linked to UK, but even so I still got 5.5MB/sec on the former and maxed out my connection on the latter at 7.4MB/sec.

Think everyone has got it by now.. you don't like the game! Really no need to keep bashing on about it, that won't change the finished product.

Don't get me wrong i'm still enjoying it... It's just flawed, but at least I wasn't expecting it to be perfect or anything so i'm happy :)

I'm playing on expert and just finished the train station level, but it was rather annoying.
What I did was as soon as the detection meter goes up, turn your back and keep moving while facing opposite directions. It managed to get me through a crowd of about 5 police right at the end!

But I do think the game is turning into splinter cell and going off track, the first levels were good but it seems when you get to the cops chasing you it loses its Hitman feel :(
 
Is it me or does this game just feel like it was ment to be played on a console control and a console rather than a pc the lack of mouse sensitivity for example ?

It feels like they have continued on from blood money in someways struck some problem halfway though during development had some words with higher up people and decided to basically rush it ignoring the things that made blood money great.Its like a dumbed down,console friendly,censored version of blood money rushed out at the last minute to market for maximum profit that would explain some things.
