Hitman Benchmark

Yer, not the best way to go in truth. Life is Strange was a Square game and did the same and waiting for the last episode, I had lost all interest and moved on to other games. Dreamfall Chapters is another and really really hate waiting for each episode, even though the games are great.

I've bought the "Full experience" version, does that includes all the "episodes"?

Yes bud :)

So you get interested and finish that part of the game and you have to wait 1 week to 3 months to carry on your game?

Just NO! Dx12 or not that's just ridiculous.

I feel the same I will wait until I get a new card and see what bundled with it or wait until all of it is out and get it in a sale.

The funny thing, is by the time the whole of the game has been released, these cards will be obsolete :p

The Beta which I played was only DX11 but I expect by release time it will be DX12. The game is also episodic and will release a bit at a time and you can buy each episode or all at once.

The new crimson 16.3's have dx12 support for Hitman so I guess when it comes out tomorrow it will be working.

Where does it say that? Can't see anything in the notes regarding DX12.

It's an AMD sponsored game, it doesn't have to have a specific driver. The latest driver will support it like any other game. It's usually the crossfire profiles that are lagging when a new game comes out.

It does say that there are Hitman performance optimisations in the driver (16.3), it doesn't specifically say DX12 though.

Not surprised AMD's probably going to open a can of whip ass using Async tbh, Nv performance goes into reverse when Async is involved.:D

Pity beta looked very average, if there isn't any extra IQ added on top and add in the episodic nature of the title.

I know for a fact if I finish an episode and have to wait for the next part, I'm never going to go back to it in a hurry, no matter how good it is, something else will come along in between and I'll lose interest.

Saying that I hardly finish any titles these days, most of them get very repetitive and boring anyway.

That is fantastic performance! Any numbers from the Fury and Fury X yet? Should be really interesting with more and more games in the future using DX12.

That's depressing a massively overclocked 1.4GHZ GTX960 can't beat even an R9 280X. At 1920X1080 it is barely hitting 30FPS.

Also after seeing that even my GTX960 clocked at 1.4GHZ(which is almost the max the core can handle) can barely beat a stock clocked R9 280 in The Division (and the same card ran it better than mine in ARK,another Nvidia title),I can see Gameworks adds value for the midrange user and I should listen to what some say here and never buy an AMD card due to Gameworks.

I have also been waiting months for the Async drive for Ashes too, being a big Sins of a Solar Empire fan,and yet that is nowhere to be seen. Hoping an R9 280/280X does not beat my card in that, otherwise a few of my mates might be sniggering at me with their older cards.

Very impressive. Amd is doing really well in recent games. Maybe this GpuOpen/GCN in console is really now starting to pay off?

Amd need it tbh and hopefully it carries onto even bigger games.

The AMD cards (esp Fury's) are gonna shine once DX12 and Async are widespread

I knew I was buying my cards for today (last 8 months) and not tomorrow, but if you want a card to last then go AMD tbh (380 onwards :D)
