Hitman gets reboot

If this is not a joke, then

they are much stupider than I thought and Hitman as a franchise is dead to me.

And I love Hitman.

blood money was amazing. i loved dressing up in a chicken suit and whacking people with a massive revolver/magnum gun :D this sounds like its going to be like the most recent splinter cell game with the cover system :( keep it original i say!!
 
im guessing the theif series will be ruined next.

seems like they are following hollywoods lead and redoing old games for a quick and easy profit
 
Gotta echo what other people are saying about the sequels and Blood Money.

Blood Money was absolutely fantastic, the series doesn't need a "reboot" because it was going in the right direction anyway :/.
 
Yup I picked up Blood Money a month or two back, fantastic game, back up to (and better) than the standard of Hitman 2, a touch on the easy side to get the top rank, but still fantastic. Had a great two weeks finishing it all in Silent Assassin. Mate picked it up at the same time and it was fun to hear how we each approached the missions differently.

Still got Contracts to finish, never got into it properly, the lack of connection between missions ruined it for me. Oh well another one like 2 or Blood Money would be perfect for me, no reboot please.
 
I loved the first Hitman and Blood Money, the ones in between were a bit meh - more of a fan of the public filled levels rather than entering a gang hide out where you can just shoot away.

Movie tie in means they are going to give him a nice cuddly story with feelings and pointless twists. Exactly what no Hitman fans want.

Cover and shooting? Run and gun? Will have Garret wearing clogs giving falcon punches to guards next..... I cant see it not failing to be honest, altering a really fun original concept and making it the same as 60% of other games out there.

Hope it doesnt suck but that list is hard to swallow.

Any guesses for the next franchise that is loved by gamers to get shafted?
 
I regret to say I saw this comming after that daft as hell movie! Contract's and Blood money can't be beat... and it sucks they won't keep to the genuine concept of our favourite emotionless stone cold killer!!!

I'll give it a whirl no doubt but im preparing to cringe!
