this is a game I've always said I'm going to play and just neither got round to, without going too fair back what a good game to start on it this series
 
If it were me, I would just play 'Hitman: World of Assassination' which basically includes all the missions from Hitman (2016), Hitman 2 (2018) and Hitman 3 (2021)

The other games are a bit archaic IMO.

I say that as a big fan of the series.

The modern ones don't really 'feel' like Hitman to me.
Silent Assassin, Contracts, Blood Money, all were great for their time.

I think Absolution was the last one that felt like the originals.
 
Hitman Blood Money is still very playable. The earlier games are a bit too dated now for most people.

I personally enjoyed Absolution but it loses the sandbox element and is really linear.

I prefer it versus the OTT vastnesss of the modern ones, I even went back and replayed it recently due to this, and it still holds up well.
There's enough to explore without feeling overwhelmed/lost.
