HL2: Episode 2 Problem

When I start it up (first time playing Episode 2

) and it's at the bit before the menu where it says its loading, it just sits there, I've left it for a good ten minutes but nothing, I had this same problem with the Portal demo.

Any Idea's?

Start the game with the -32bit command.

Firewall blocking it? My copy hangs when the firewall is waiting for me to select block or allow it.

So you have x64bit and/or 8GB RAM? If so: right click on the game, properties, general, launch options and add "-32bit"

Does the same on me on all (I think) HL games since I had 8GB RAM

Don't think it's my firewall,

Running 2gb on WinXP 32bit

Will try all of this later.

I used the -32bit things that Princey and mame suggested.
