HL2 Lost Coast Recommended specs...

Funny..

Logged into Steam to download HL2 Lost Coast, system check told me I do not meant the recommend specs.

Running an E6600, with 8800GTS. Needs a 2.9Ghz CPU, shame its not noticed E6600 are dual oh well. Was also impressed when the system checker provided links to suitable video cards.. :eek:

Like an 8800GTS isn't good enough..??

Oh how I laughed, and started to download anyhow..

They are based on netbust style speeds, also, the source engine isn't currently multi-threaded however that should be addressed soon.

Pretty sure last time I looked CSS was using both cores on my computer :/

Maybe I left it doing a virus checks whilst playing again

I read that back when they first released info what they had done/got planned, im looking forward to it.

Though i find it funny that as soon as games get multithreading they decide quad core is the way forward, an expensive one that that.

Pretty sure last time I looked CSS was using both cores on my computer :/

hah just reinstalled steam a few days ago on my vista box and got the same. Valve demand i overclock my e6600, I've got no excuse now
