Ok, its now just gone 16.00 and i've just added up all the calories i've had today and it comes to 521? Also i've been out for about 20 minutes and a session of HIIT. Is this weird, because i don't even feel hungry? I had:

Bacon Sandwich (i know, i know, but it was SO nice :p ) - 242 calories
Juice = 140 calories
*exercise*
Chicken breast things = 140 calories.

How many calories do you think you would lose in a HIIT session?

Ran 0.5miles to the local field, 15 mins HIIT, 0.5 miles back.

SO many questions, i know, but cheers anyway :D

How much do you weigh? 500 cals is far too low - it'll do more harm than good. Really, you want to be eating at least 10 times calories to your bodyweight in pounds (eg you weight 170lbs, around 1700cals per day).

i'm 165lb's. its 1700kcal for the body to tick over. You burn calories while jus being awake and walking around, that is where the extra 800calories come from (to make it 2500) iirc

so if i eat any calories over 1600 (i weigh 160lb) and dont excercise then i should in theory be putting on weight?

blimey! what butter do you use?

Anchor of course - gotta be from grass fed cattle.

about 70g of butter works out to 500 odd calories.

I don't always have that much but I basted a chicken in it, fried a burger and eggs in it and had trout with creme fraiche butter and chives, the trout was brushed in butter before cooking of course.

Needless to say I like butter, in fact right now I'm gearing up for a three egg, spinach, cheese and tomato omlette which will need some butter for the pan.

Hmmm think i'll have a fry up for dinner... Olive oil for me though :p (cutting atm :()

lol, theoretically if you lay in ** bed like not moving asleep all day on average it would take 1600kcal for you to not gain/not lose. (assuming you are 160lb) but this is a loose figure. Did you know that every 3500kcal you don't eat, you lose one pound (not exactly accurate, but rule of thumb). So if you eat 250kcal less a day, and burn another 250kcal in exercise, in a week you lose one pound of weight!

Any comments as to if this is real??

AFAIK its true, every 3k to 3.5k calorie loss equates to 1 pound loss. It seemed to work for me as I was losing 1kg a week (11kgs in 12 weeks). I cut 500 calories from my daily intake (2000 instead of 2500) and went to the gym 4-5 times a week doing 800 calorie work outs.
