I'm not sure that's true.

For example, I have a part-time job working in a bar and our prices change pretty much every night. A Saturday night you would pay £3.80 for an alchopop, Sunday it's only £1.50. Not to mention 'Happy Hour' prices that change things even further. Maybe it's different because it comes under the lisencing act?
 
Ordered mine first thing Friday morning and still hasnt despatched yet. I guess I can't expect them to be as good as the dedicated online retailers.
 
Well for a change HMV dispatched all but one of the CDs I ordered on Saturday. Annoyingly the one I really wanted that they said was in stock, is suddenly 'on special order from our suppliers'.

Think he means saying you're selling at half price, which is true, but you're tricking the customer as they would think "half of 30p" when it's not that.
 
All 3 of mine are on special order from suppliers and Im still waiting for a CD/DVD combo I ordered about 5 weeks ago which is still on order from suppliers. HMV for me have been useless

They couldn't possibly have been extremely busy over the weekend due to this code being used, and are working on things in the order they were put through? It's a bit rash to only give them 1 working day to send things out, especially given the circumstances.

I recieved a nice big pile of dvds from the postman yesterday morning, but that was an order made on Wednesday night and the second was done about an hour after the code when live.

Fair enough but still not dispatched and ordered on friday morning. My dads order hasn't been sent yet either.

I'm not knocking the company (I use to work for them) but I'm just used to the excellent service of the two main sites.
 
Mine came through this morning. Though not happy with Shawshank redemption, the dvd wasn't in the plastic thing and had a huge scratch because the clip inside the cover was broken leaving the dvd to move around :mad:
