Ho do i update Hdd firmware

I have one of those affected Seagate hard drives that needs their firmware upgraded.

Now i have downloaded the firmware and burned it as image cd (using Imgburn), but how do i actually upgrade the firmware itself. There are no steps on Seagate website and Google at the mo isn't helping me.

BTW I have two of these drives and can I connect them both or do i need to do them one by one.

When i clicked this link it told me that i didn't need the update which was a relief.

I had a external hard drive which was exhibiting those problems, so i installed it in my computer and it's performing normally also after clicking the above link i was reassured.
