Ho hum ....

These things are my nemesis; every time I go up the M40 I alwasys end up with one of these things screaming up my backside on the downhills only to drop 20 mph on the uphills but refuse to get out of lane three. They seem to make the owners think they have some kind of sports car.

It's always a blue one as well, is that the only colour they come in?

DannyW: have you thought of test driving before you buy? ;)

Most women buy crap cars. One of my gf's mates had a Ka that rusted like mad so she went out and bought... another brand new Ka :p

I can certainly see the appeal of a CC over the regular 206.

Pokey up black bit on the drivers side but not the passenger side? Isn't that the bit that goes between the front and back windows?

Does that not have a big chunky metal folding roof with motors and a heavy mechanism AND all the extra strengthening on the chassis to cope with not having a proper roof? Add to that a car with a terrible interior, shoddy handling and some dangerous faults and you're onto a winner.

Surely a convertible roof is less weight? And what's wrong with a 206? I thought pugs were generally considered to be "okay"?

It's a tin top convertable, so you've got the weight of a metal roof and the motors / mechanism. The motors are made from cheese though, so can't be that heavy.

plus the extra structural re-inforcement to cope with the fact its lost roughly 50 % of its chassis strength by chopping the roof off.

centre of mavity might be a bit better but you forget that when the scuttle shake turns your kidneys to jelly :D

Ok I've bitten my tongue for far too long. What makes you think your Fiesta is better than almost any of the cars you regularly slate? I've driven a fiesta just like your one. Think it was a 1.25 zetec and it was a fate worse than death.

Go on, tell me why its better than this 206? Without resorting to an argument about how it owes you nothing and cost you peanuts? It's not an excuse.

Did he say it was better than his fiesta?

I know my 106 is a pile of ****e, doesn't stop me giving an opinion on other equally ****e cars

How many of these have you driven? What other 2+2 convertible are you comparing them to in the price range?
