Holiday on your own?

I've been away alone several times. The main thing you need to understand is it's not like england, where you go into a pub, sit on your own and feel like a billy no mates.

Everywhere I've been I've rarely been on my own for longer than a few sips of my drink, before being approached by friendly tourists or locals. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. In fact in many respects I actually prefer it to going away with my mates.


Plus, it's a known fact that you grow an extra ball size for going it alone.

Like Van Hellseek, Ive done this a few times. You travel to the airport on your own but when on the plane you have someone to talk to. And when you arrive at your holiday resort, if people know you are Billy no mates people will invite you to sit with them etc. So you dont spend the whole time lonely and depressed, and you will make new friends. Im going to Cape Verdé in june on my own
