this is paradise island a sandbank in the Atlantic. it was a 45 minute boat ride from the Coast on Dom. Rep. bf went swimming in the coral reef and said it was amazing to see.

very hot though and the shacks they have built on it are the only form of shelter

lots of jellyfish too. i got stung 2 hours later when getting back into the boat. didnt realise it was a sting until after the 3 1/2 hour coach ride back to the hotel!!

Zell Am See in Austria - absolutely humped it down. Was fantastic, I love skiing in blizzards. :)

If you've got a friend who has a car and has a few weeks spare... it's just paradise.. from tall mountains (The place were Zeus was born according to mythology... an amazing very deep cave).. to tropical beaches.

This really brought a tear to my eye since I love Panormo and I've spent great times there and haven't been there for years ;(

The best water-mellons in Crete come from Panormo too.. I know because my dad makes sure he only buys Panormo water-mellons during the summer :)

Cold sweet water-mellon... mmmmmmmmmm *drool*
 
Oh yes, now that looks like good fun! For the past couple of years, myself and my mates have always balls'd up and booked a bit to late in the season, but this year at Tignes (see my pis post) we had a good dump in the second half of the week. This caused almighty problems as we have a dendancy to getting a bit drunk in the evening making it very hard to get up early and catch the first runs! However we managed and got near the top La Grande Motte and gave the run Leisse a good going over. I have only had about 4-5 weeks on the old ski's and i was tweaking all over the place in the deep powder!

I'd quite happily go back there this year but the GF wanted to go somewhere different so we're off to Lesbos in september.
