Holiday search engine

I'm looking to go on holiday in April. I don't know where yet but I'm looking for a beach resort type for around 5 days with the wife. Is there a holiday search engine that you can input the dates and airport and it literally finds holiday destinations for a given budget?

I've tried websites where they advertise "cheap April breaks" but once you on their site they don't have the dates I'm looking for. Im leaning towards Turkey but open to suggestions.

They both allow you to select price and type of holiday.

Flight + Hotels, sort price low to high. Same as any travel booking site. :confused:

skyscanner and hotels.com are two i use quite frequently as well as the ones already mentioned

Travelzoo are good, but you will need to provide an email address.

They are all good holiday search engines, but my point it they don't allow you to input the dates and airport you want and then find holiday destinations for a given budget? You have to either put a destination in OR select beach holiday but it wont let you choose the dates you want.

Think I might have to go to a travel agents

Skyscanner and Booking.com. Biggest cost differentiator with holidays will be the flights so find them first.

Skyscanner also does the above. Just choose to fly from UK to Everywhere and see what you can get.

I like Kayak for flights. Not sure if it does holidays too?

I like the everywhere option on skyscanner, use it a lot!

If you just want a hotel somewhere touristy then you're still better off getting a package deal over booking flights and hotel separately. The package deal will be substantially cheaper. Personally I think travelzoo is probably the best place for that, although 5 days may mean he'll have to book separate.
