A diligent airline pilot has been spotted loading luggage on to a plane, as summer travel chaos continues to grip airports across the UK.

Video shows the conscientious captain down on the tarmac helping ground crew to load up to the plane with baggage ahead of an Edelweiss flight from Edinburgh airport.

It comes as passengers continue to face chaos at UK airports, including at Heathrow, where hundreds of bags have been seen mounting up outside Terminal 2.

Hundreds of British Airways workers at Heathrow today voted to go on strike in a pay dispute that has now ruined summer holidays for thousands of families.

The militant GMB and Unite unions have blamed 'pig-headed' aviation bosses for causing the wave of industrial action by imposing mass layoffs during the Covid lockdown, as negotiations over pay acrimoniously descended into mudslinging today.

BA said that the unions had rejected a 10% pay offer in favour of walkouts as early as next month, potentially during the school holidays. However, union barons claim the airline's offer was a one-time 'bonus' and its members want the full salary returned.

Ye the castle was very nice inside, also went for the high views at the Palace of culture and science and also went to the Uprising war museum it was so packed though I couldnt wait to get out.

Old town was really beautiful loved the high from the church, my hotel was 1.2 miles out from Old town abit of blunder on my part wish I got a hotel closer on reflection.

Unfortunately it was there bank holiday weekend that I caught so it was very busy.

Worst part was Modlin airport tbh wont go back in a hurry hate cramped and small airports.

Yes it is dangerous but you can mitigate that by ensuring you arent worth robbing by not wearing any jewellery, watches or expensive branded clothing. Iguazu Falls are well worth visiting, Rio was great (see sugar loaf mountain, Christ the redeemer, Copa Cabana, see the footy game/stadium if you are into that sort of thing). Food is amazing, the Churrascos are a must if you love meat. We basically did a tour round Rio, the Iguazu falls and then went on to spend a week on the beach in Salvador

Love Italy one of my favourite places only done Rome and Florence so far.

^ Porto / Lisbon been on my list for a long time however im trying to get through countries I havnt been currently.
