HOLY CRAP!

I had this happen years ago. Luckily the drive was under guarantee and the company replaced the drive and the game :D

Really loud bang though...Nearly brown trousers.

I would say that this is a great feature of your DVD drive. A selling point in fact. It shows good taste in destroying your Sims2 disk. Look at it as the DVD drive trying to save your life and stopping you wasting in on The Sims. Go and get some Barbie dolls instead as these won't shatter when used. :D

thats the funnyest thing iv ever seen since it happened to me but with a playstation one lol.

i had the lid open on the playstation (it was chipped so it span with the lid open) and it was spinning and i stupidly put the disk on when the middle bit was trying to spin and it launched the cd across the room and it hit the wall and shattered then the middle bit of the playstation what u put the disk onto, it span off and hit the window and cracked the window and it was just totally wrecked lol it was so funny,

i was only 9 back then tho, but still.. :D hahah quality
