tbh its a touch too modern for me.
I'm impressed with the effort thats gone into it, and the detail they've gone into to get the look, and the ammount of kit in the house, but i wouldnt do it anything like that given the same budget.

Dont get me wrong, I've got a Samsung 40" 1080P LCD thats now 3 years old and i'm itching to upgrade.
I stream content to it using my PS3 and have sky HD, i'm far from a luddite
But the styling is just too modern for me. I'm a fan of plain white walls rather than grandad wallpaper, but i'd much rather have a nice natural wood floor or some carpet than the OTT white floor in this setup. I'd much rather have my kit in a conventional unit than on those futuristic looking "plynths"
Equally id much rather have a normal couch than that strange looking thing in the front room !
Rob I actually agree with you, i'm just being silly.
As a showhome, it's an absolute masterpiece but not very 'homely' or comfortable.
At least he has some rugs!

As a design student I can appreciate it, but it's not for me.
It's too presentable. Bedroom reminds me of a hotel.
Sofa's look uncomfy, if it was me I would be dragging the leather armchairs over.
It just needs some-one to come in and unstraighten evrything for me. It's a show house, not a home.

I think the Audyssey circuits must be working overtime to get that sounding half decent...... about 15K worth of speakers and a couple of K electronics.... tad in balanced I feel
