See its to do with jesus being nothing more than a mortal nothing special no god, priory of sion i dont no but people who protect the grail a well known artist, who in his paintings does he display the secrets of the grail, maybe it is true theres nothing to state it doesnt exist.

It's often used to describe such things ... such as definitive proof of the Higgs boson in quantum physics, the creation of totally photorealistic CGI people in visual effects, a cure for cancer....

It's still described as the "holy grail" of medicine, and I believe is the most important concern, with a cure for HIV coming in second. Possibly the ultimate "holy grail" for medicine would be to be able to cure all diseases and all ailments and make people live forerver... but that's getting a bit too philosophical for a Tuesday morning.
