Holy ****!!!

I played the open beta/stress test. That's an extremely flattering video, and the game itself is terrible in its current state.

It has potential to be a genuine "new UO" but its months, maybe years away from being in a playable state.
 
I wouldn't even say the video is that impressive. It's just theatrical, is all. When it gets into some of the proper gameplay (walking around the town; character models) the game starts to look quite dated.

It's all too generic. This'll probably get canned before release.
 
Well i spent an hour walking around on and off it kept crashing, i was trying to get over this hill each time it crashed i'd end up about half the distance back in the opposite direction. I did crest the hill in the end and saw a flying pig ;) I killed one on the ground and watched its remains float down from the sky.

Apart from that exciting moment i saw no other wild life, only 2 other players 1 of which was jumping through the air and no npc's. I chopped wood from a tree, mined some ore from a random rock and well that was it.
 
You could put a piece of dog **** on a table with that sound track and it would be epic.

Anyone remember the Dark and Light Beta?? biggest fail ever
