Home Cinema Setup - Second Hand Guidance?

Check out the JBL Control 1 speakers. They are magnetically shielded so can be placed right next to your TV. They come with wall-mount brackets, but will happily sit on stands. JBL are part of the Harmon group and typically their speakers are tuned for decent sound out-of-the-box. They have a solid build quality. And you can pick up a pair for around £90 with 6-year warranty:

That is only for crt TVs
 
Where are you located ? I have a Denon x540BT 5.2 AVR that was bought as a stand in when my X6400 went for a repair. Was going to list it on the bay or AVF but never got around to it.
 
I have a set of MA radius speakers (2 x 225 and 250 plus 2 x 180) can have if you want. You will need to pick them up from Leicestershire though.

Thanks gents, super kind. Let me get back to you once I've done some homework (I'm a buy it for life type of guy so wouldn't want to end up kicking it on too soon!).

Can I have them, are boxes, packaging, accessories included, in mint condition, is warranty still available, would you be able to install them for me, would you pay me for taking them off your hands as it's inconveniencing me, would you deliver them to my home for me, would that include 24/7 customer support even at 3am in morning?

that reminds me someone did ask for £20 less for something I was selling a while ago, saying "she had to drive 50 miles to pick it up" :rolleyes:

I'd recommend standmount for your budget.

I really don't recommend budget towers. I've had speakers of various sizes, from two way, two driver bookshelf to multi driver 3 way five driver towers from £50 to ~£3000

At £100-£200, look at standmounts.
