Home Delivery Network...

Had an item delivered today from HDN, first time i have ever used them, luckaly my neighbour took the package for us and had the card through the door to say who had it. Was deliverd on time to the date specifed by there website.

Did get worried when i had read the horror stories on the net about them but still perfer to have stuff shipped RM, works out a lot easier.

Most of Amazons small items come through us (Royal Mail) such as CD's DVD's etc, a lot of large items as well.

I use Littlewoods quite often for their clothes and they use DHN and I agree they are far far too inconsistent, trying to get through to them is a joke I’m sure the only have one phone.

They are not a conventional carrier in that they only deal in bulk contracts and dont do collections.
They charge very little and the drivers deliver over 100 stops a day across huge areas.
They are just, white flag? blue flag? what ever they were called who Grattens used to use.

Well it’s the same as every other courier; if they cant manage the load why book the contracts?

My other half orders stuff online with Littlewoods and they have always been either a day or even days early.

They are a spot on courier :)

I’ve never had a package go missing but a few times they have failed to show up on the day expected. I wouldn’t say there bad but average :)

Random, I saw an HDN branded van for the first time today and briefly wondered who they are.

So now I know.

Looks like they do have some branded vans too, this was white with a small green/black logo.

Just a quick update.

Item was delivered today by a van branded with Home on it but that was it.

The package didnt come till 5:30pm mind, i was beginning to think it wasnt going to arrive.
