not a bad effort.. 2 120mm fans 1 each side would have done better plus not spraying.. filling the heatpipes with something could help too
 
depending on the paint you used, it may well have even acted as a total insulator, stopping a lot of heat from leaving. if you make the exact same version again with no paint, it should be much better.

also the thing that makes heatsinks work well is how theyre made from as few materials joined as possible, as heat conducts better through one material all the way through. perhaps in the next version try to use just one section for the fins. might help.

but good work! i wouldnt be confident enough to try anything i have hand made in my pc!
