sorry but I did have a good look and couldn't find where to put a normal printer yes I don't want a 3D printer would it be possible to get the post moved by any chance thank youI'm guessing you mean a standard paper printer? You've posted this in 3D printing so probably worth being clear.
wow thank you I'll be looking into thatFor occasional use, I'd avoid inkjets... as you'll use all your ink cleaning the heads.
We dumped our canon inkjets and upgraded to the Xerox C310 colour laser in the end and have found it faultless for everything other than photo quality prints, for those we just use Snappy Snaps.
thank you very much for your reply much appreciatedSimilar, I have a Brother black and white laser, you can usually pick them up for under £100.
Replacement toner cartridges are around for less than £10 and last forever.
I realised that I really didn't need a colour printer, and for the odd occasion that I did I could either borrow a family member's printer or just pay for it somewhere. Has saved me a small fortune.
thanks for infoI've had a Brother DCP-L3550CDW colour laser for about 3 years now and it's been faultless. I only use it probably once a month or less. Inkjets are terrible for occasional use.
thank you very much for your reply it's much appreciatedAnother vote for laser.
I got my Ricoh SP203W at least 5 years ago and still going strong with the original toner.
Is left unplugged most of the time, but when i need it, it always works. Best £35 i spent on a printer.![]()
