Homeplug Monitoring Software?

Hi,

I am currently running a Homeplug network at home with the majority of the plugs being Devolo, and I am using the free software that Devolo supplies to check the current connection speed between the devices, however it does not give me much more information (graphs, historic usage, actual throughput, etc)..

Considering these homeplugs all conform to a standard format, are there any software our there that will enable the users to monitor more detailed information (perhaps across a range of devices?).

Exactly what I'm searching for too. I've just got some Solwise 500's and the software included with it to see throughput is absolutely rubbish (as least Devolo's looks much better).

Trying to find info about how you talk to the things and cannot find anything - if there was some data I could write something to monitor them etc.

I used to have Comtrend units (the ones BT used to give away with their broadband) and at least you could remote into them to configure etc. - although they were not proper Homeplug standard.

the simple answer is no.

IF you got some software with your homeplugs lucky u.

I got nothing with mine the only way of testing is wire a pc into ur broadband download something from somewhere u know will be full speed, rinse and repeat a few time via homeplug see what you get.

some of the reviews use benchmarking software (hard to see if its free), check out those

windows task manager will let you see some of the throghput data on the network tab if you initate some transfers
