I seem to have an odd problem with homeplugs in my room! I have got through two sets from different manufacturers it seems they work to begin with, the first set lasted about a year (ZyXEL PowerLine HomePlug/AV PLA401) then one of the plugs stopped connecting to the other, network light lit up but the sync light did not.
I assumed that the homeplugplug had burnt out somehow and bought a new set (TP-LinkTL-PA201), these lasted about a month before the same problem occured, I have got the plugs running in a multi-tap (not Ideal I know but there is only one socket in the room!)
any idea what might be killing these things!?
I'm having to resort to my old wi-fi card now!
