Homeworld 2

Yep did that quite a few times myself heh.

Was Hw2 on WON or something else, basically are there still people playing it does anyone know?

I think it might be up or their maybe alternatives up, suppose read relic forums for it. Failing that their is hamachi with mates i guess.

Btw do u remember who was my team mate, chaoscow, hal, bulba, kayser?

Oh and the siege cannon yeah, just do not go near the crystals with it as it causes chain reaction iirc. lol.
 
Unfortunatly i dont. Sry. Have a crap memory enough and with it being like over 6 years ago or so since i last played it is impossible for me to remember names. I remember some things from back then but names im terrible with.

Wish i could remember you then we could chat about the old times in more detail.
 
Nope not at all i said i stoped playing 6 years ago, i began much earlier, around 2000. I was heavy into modding hw1 back when i got hw in early 2000 or maybe very late 1999. I used to go on TheGamingUnion a lot.
 
Homeworld 1 was only the second pc game I owned, played it to death many times, I'll never forget whenI first saw the mothership and could move around it in the 3d, absolutely brilliant! Played Homeworld 2 a good few times as well and I hanker after a Homeworld 3, if only.......:)

It was an amalgamation of the different parties again after it all got sold off years ago. Through different takeovers and mergers everything is now back under the same roof. If they have any sense they'll make another one as its a genre that's gone quiet.
 
I've just reinstalled homeworld 1 on the pc in me sig and while I get black screens with just the music playing between the levels, once in game it runs fine, just limited to 1280 x 1024 res, still looks nice though.
I'll try and instal homworld 2 later today out of curiosity
