They'd be fools not to, but seeing as though Relic have at least two major projects underway already I doubt we'll be seeing it for quite some time.

Homeworld 1 is the GREATEST multiplayer game i have EVER played by far. I still remember picking up my copy from a Virgin Megastore in October 1999. It was the downfall of my life.

Homeworld 1 was the second game I ever bought, tib sun being the first. Took me ages to finish it. I found the the two subsequent sequels good, but not a patch on the original. Be a nice surprise if they made a third

Still one of the greatest games ever in my opinion. They seriously need to bring this back, I remember the games looked amazing. Imagine what they could do today!

I am pinning my hopes on something here. Please! Cataclysm was one of my favourite games. The games still look really good today so an updated Homeworld would be seriously good news. Best strategy games...period.

I loved Homeworld, the opening sequence panning around the Mothership was immense.

The feeling of freedom in the game was just brilliant.

I'd love a new one, there isn't enough Space-3dRTS games

HW:Cataclysm and Homeworld 2 were good but for me neither of those or any other game since has touched Homeworld. It was truly years ahead of it's time. Absolutely perfect game.

I felt cataclysm actually built upon Homeworld, there were so many improvements in the gameplay and the storyline was fantastic. My only complaint was that it was just too damn short and a lot easier than HW

Agreed the story was fantastic but i never actually bothered playing to the end, i was definitely a MP HW fanatic. Used to love the panic when a Siege Cannon went off though hehe!

Loved HW2 multiplay.

Always made me smile when you saw a huge ball of light explode in the distance when someones mothership got popped
