Whats ironic is, that car is for the US market. LSD's aid in cornering/handling, and the US has a complete lack of corners compared to UK roads.

So why is it that the UK doesn't ever get the LSD as standard on honda's "sporty" models

That type r is awesomely gorgeous, hope the safety car has to come out on sunday! shame that we never get cars as good as this over here and as a result the import costs push the prices up
