I agree £2500 is a lot for a ~15yr old car, probably too much, but a pug 205? no thanks.

There's a cel blue VT on ebay with Civic VTI wheels, looks rust free from the pics (and the description). Birmingham though :\

tbh their nowt special.

i really dont understand the fascination

although my missus did own a nice civic gl twin carb many moons ago with many a tweeks :)

Well the market has made it that way. A few years ago they were all <£2k but then started going up in value.

They handle brilliantly, look cool, have a 160bhp engine and are very reliable. Market value and percieved quality means that they are something special.

my friend down the road has got 2, one was a write off (was roled several times) but he is a pro bodyshop/sprayer. I think he is selling one but im not 100% on it. Ill check tomorrow.

I know he had plans to rip the engine out of the one and stick a new Civic Type-R running gear in.

Seen a few about, excellent engines that rev all the way up to 9k. Wasn't the VTEC developed by Toyota though?

Seen a 1.6 VTEC nail a MR2 GT (2.0L 16v twin cam) from a standing start, very suprising.

Well try these links

CRX 1

CRX 2

For those saying overpriced tat you simply have to drive one. We picked one up for £750, the normal twin cam 130bhp model and for £750 I doubt you will drive anything more fun

Simply fantastic fun, they are little pocket rockets and put a real smile on your face which is what its about :D

thanks for links but the first is non vtech its the d16a9/d16a8 depends if it has a cat my first crx was the d16a9 went like hell 130bhp i love these cars.tbh all my cars have been hondas or atleast had honda engines ive been driving 8 years and not once have i had a prob with em.

As standard? Gotta get me one of them! :D

Toyota have VVTi...Variable Valve Timing, (think the 'i' is for injection).

Swapping the engine is easy enough. Plenty of B16A1's going around (1 on ebay right now for £300)

The car you are looking for is a CRX VT (not VTi).

And iirc VTEC technology originated from motorbikes :)

Lol it just cracked me up how you continuously spelt VTEC wrong even after realising your mistake.

Sorry :p no offence intended it just made me laugh :D .

:p i aim to make atleast one person laugh every day....(goes off thinking they will fall for that).
