Honda S2000 - future classic?

I'd love to have one, one of these would be on my list, but strangely an S2000 is silly money insurance-wise, around £1600-1800 for me, compared to a 3L Z4/E46 330ci Convert which are both around £1-1.1k to insure.

Madness.

Lot's of people ask if I am going to sell mine......the answer is always no. If I think about it I don't think I have any plans to sell it. It's the sort of car I could see myself keeping for a very long time, even if it turns into a garage queen/weekend car.

I love mine. Had it for two years and have no plans to sell it. I just can't think of anything that offers the same thrill but with a nod to practicality for less than £60k.

I test drove one recently, just a shame that I couldn't sell the missus on it.
For me, DEFINITELY a future classic. Just nothing else around with the precision and purity of design, and now I don't see it ever happening again.
If I had the spare cash for a toy car like this, I'd definitely have one.

I've had a couple of nice cars over the years that have had to go for various reasons. The S2000 wasn't the most expensive or the most luxurious but its the only car I really miss having and regret getting rid of :(
