Honeymoon ideas in England..

Hello I've got the next week off work and basically am plannin on taking the missus out, we aint been anywhere since we've got married.

Has to be in the UK, I was thinking on the Lake District.

Any ideas or tips?

For £600 you should be going abroad, easily. Look at Easyjet and Ryanair and go from there.

for £500-£600 you could easily get a last minute deal going abroad.
Have you tried:

laterooms.com lastminute.com ? Also a lot of the airlines have sales on/v cheap tickets. I've just had a quick look on lastminute and there's a lot of deals within your price range.

If you really fancy staying in England, why not rent a cottage in Windemere in the Lake District.

Technically you can go anywhere in the uk and ireland, what about a weekend in dublin or something? At least getting on a plane and changing your money makes it feel like a holiday

16th century B & B on the edge of Rydal water in the Lake district. Close to Windermere and Grasmere (Gingerbread for the win)

Could try Edinburgh for New Year then find a nice place to stay somewhere a bit more remote. Dublin is also a good idea, but I'm not sure about the rules when flying to Dublin.
