Ok getting married in April next year and looking for suggestions on somewhere to go. Quite fancy mexico (although ive been there before).

It must be on/near a beach
Hot
Relaxing
Peferably somewhere you can swim with dolphins
~£2500 for 10 - 14 nights.
All inclusive.

Any ideas/recommendations?

Do any of them have nightlife? I quite fancy the fact with mexico that its got the relaxing bit, but also some clubs and stuff. Any recommendations on hotels and what not?

Well, I don't know about Seychelles and Maldives, but being born in Mauritius, the latter does have plenty of nightlife, esp on the coast where the hotels are. I am not too clued up these days but if you just search for the country+holiday, there are lots of blogs and reviews around.

Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius are all very nice and meet your criteria.

he won't get much there if his budget is for both of them

another suggestion wold be the Dominican Republic , that sort of money will get one of the best places on the Island

they exist but I can honestly say I have never ( knowingly ) encountered one , fabulous place, great folks , super cheap

tbh I find all inclusive resorts very dull and sterile , I like to have a lot more to do and with a chance to see some local culture but maybe for a Honeymoon then they could have their place

I don't mine the Caribbean ( been 4 times ) but after trying the Far East it isn't likely to get a look in for a long time

I went to mauritius for mine, lovely people but it's not the view of paradise you imagine. Infact Cyprus is not only more beautifull it has better beaches too.

Although nothing was wrong to make it bad it just isnt worth the 12 hour flight and extra couple of grand.

Both my Wife and I both wish we had gone to cyprus instead for the money it cost :D

I'd also recommend Thailand. Beautiful country and lovely people. The hotels are also some of the best I've stayed in, service is faultless and the food outstanding. Lots of cultural things to do as well.

Hotels are generally accomodation only though, but prices are pretty reasonable, especially outside of hotels.

thanks :)

The honeymoon is being paid for as a present to us, so money doesnt really matter as long as its not over about 2.5k. Erm ok silly question. Does thailand have beaches?

Think Aus is a bit out of the price range isnt it?

Its not a whole lot Further then thailand if i remember where thailand is correctly :p

Just avoid the Shopping and the Main parts of the capital Citys and you might be able to find somewhere that is Good quality for money or something that you might like :)

2 Week Carribean cruise (well thats what we did anyway :p) Cant get more inclusive and relaxing than that :D

Was awesome and met some real good people too, made friends with a few other honeymoon couples from the states etc.

How about Rio De Janerio? although I'm not sure about the dolphins but everything esle it has, don't forget beaches such as :
  • Copacobana
  • Ipanema
  • Leblon
  • Barra de Tijuca

Also has the wondeful and magnificant "Christ De Redeemer" and Sugar Loaf mountian.

or how about Brisbane Australia ?
Has the very nice Surfers Paradise and Gold Coast, You can swim with dophins not far away

Or how about a trip to Carins Australia?
Has the Correl Reef and I imagine Dolphins are near by.

Kenyan Safari?

Not unless your idea of relaxed honeymoon is driving round dusty pot holed tracks for hours and hours. (was a fantastic experience though, just not really honeymoon material)

Keep it local, nothing says I love you like a trip up the Oxo tower.
