Hope hubs - can you live with the noise?

Although I never had anyone complain about my Hope hubs when in groups before, I have had complaints about the noise my Industry Nine Torch hubs make

You can quieten hope hubs a little by pulling the freehub and slathering a load of grease around the pawls

I bought a new wheelset last year and was really nervous about getting hope hubs because of the noise. I just didn't want a loud hub.

Call it stockholm syndrome if you want but I now love the sound of my hub and as other people have said, it negates the need for a bell. Though as has been said; you can soften the noise with more grease.

I get sick of having to pack the Hope2 full of grease.... got DT Swiss 240 now, silence is golden

Yeah I always hated the noise of Hope Pro 2 hubs, I'd actually like to just hear the rush of the wind as I'm riding/descending, without the sound of a swarm of angry bees constantly chasing me

I've an E13 rear hub now, and it's starting to get a bit loud. May strip it and give it some grease.
