What would be the best way of sending a package about 2ft x 1 x 1 and weighs about 15-20kg?

Collect from my door if possible?

A general price too?

Came for the promise of pastys being smashed.

Stayed for the interesting and informative replies relating to postal services, item weights, and distribution methods present in the UK.

Parcel2go...... I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole after the appaling service Ive had with them.

Although this is most probably DHL's fault, my parcel was lost. Trying to find this out via Parcel2Go's extreamly poor LiveChat staff gave me a proper headache. Thier phone support is actually OK, but it took about 20 minutes to get through.

Whats more annoying however is their claims proceedure. I made sure the parcel was insured for the full value the buyer paid for it. However the infomation I now need to submit for said claim is a joke. I even need to send a signed letter from the buyer to state that they havent recieved the package. Order tracking clearly shows the parcel went missing in the Manchester depot....
