Hey guys,

I am currently creating a website for university. While doing this I have come across the problem of borders and the browser zoom functions. The borders do not resize so if I use these in my horizontal navigation bar as seperators, the buttons will move out of line when you zoom out of the page.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Thanks :)

What position are you using i.e relative/absolute? Are you floating?

What are tou doing interms of scaling/sizing? %, em, px? Have you considered setting a max width?

well in general, the couple I have created I didn't use borders, I used a Nav div and then inserted button and gap divs and spaced it out using % figures.

Didn't have any issues with them. Not got the code though as we replaced the site with wordpress.

Don't know if I am missing something or not?

When I look at that page in Win XP ie8, FF & chrome I don't see a problem with the buttons themselves zooming in or out all the way. Only the grey border at the top of the page sticks out both sides.

Maybe post a screenshot of what you are seeing?
