Krystal have been handling my emails for years. But it's about time i put my hand in my pocket and set up Exchange, Especially as i'm taking on more admin staff.

I've set up 4 users and added a bunch of shared email addresses as well as our own emails.

Whats the best way to get all existing emails from Krystal to Exchange. Currently using outlook desktop and all accounts are Imap.

Suppose I could just change the DNS stuff and exchange will just download everything again.
Nope, it doesn't work like that

Spin up the 365 tenant, sort domain and records, MS can look after these if needed.
Create the mailboxes and any 365/distribution groups and if using an existing host flick DNS over.
While waiting, create the users in 365, add licenses and set up multifactor authentication, also export each users mailbox, contacts and calendars into a pst file.
On each PC create a new profile in Outlook (don't delete the old one just yet) and add the 365 mail account, don't forget to download the authenticator app and sign into the account when prompted in outlook.
Once connected, give it a minite or two to create the mailbox locally and sync up etc then import the pst file including contacts and calendar entries and let it sync, syncing is a slow old process so for anything over a Gb or two, leave it running overnight (make sure power profile doesn't allow sleep) weekends are better.
