Hosting a 3gp file

Hi all,

I have a short vid clip on my mobile that I would like to add to my site so that when people load the page the clip automatically plays (like in WMP or something)

How do I do this? Do I need to convert the file first!?

im quite sure quicktime can play 3gp files so as long as the user has quicktime they should be able to view from your site

Yes, but I dont want them to download a file. I want it to be like google video, so when the page loads the video buffers and plays from within the site.

convert it if u get the ImToo converter (you can even use the trial ) the trial converts videos up to 5 mins long so i doubt u made it bigger than that...

Or you can upload it to youtube and they'll give you the HTML to paste into your site. I think 3gp will upload, I'm pretty sure I've done it. This is the method that a lot of bloggers seem to be using nowadays.

go to google videos download the uploader and then send away or go to www.filelodge.com and host it then get the codeing for the windows media player and host away....
