Hosting Question

I currently have hosting with vidahost and a domain pointing to it. I need some more space so am going to move my current website to tsohost, so naturally I want to point my domain name at it.

After this I want to register a new domain and have that point at my current vidahost hosting.

Basicly I just want a breif run down of how I would go about an how long it will take.

Thanks for the help gents. I've checked my cpanel more than once and can't find anything related to changing the name servers of the domain. All i know are my current nameservers being ns1.vidahost.com and ns2.vidahost.com.

Any ideas?

Just looking at ordering my tsohost package and it says I can transfer a domain, when I put in the domain pointing at my existing hosting with vidahost it says it is available.

Whats this about? surely at some point I need to prove I actually own the domain?

I'd try contacting your current host to see if they're planning upgrades but then I'd be a bit biased because I know the answer

I'm sure I was sent something around Christmas about account space being upgraded.

Thing is though I doubt it would be enough for my needs, the hosting is for my gf's travel blog and she'll be uploading lots of pics ranging from 5 mega pixel to 10 mega pixel, hence why I'm looking at a 10gb hosting package. This restraint didn't really dawn on me when I bought the original hosting. >.<

I'll just wait to hear from my online ticket
