hi all
I hav just built my first custom water loop pc and I think I have a prob, I have noticed on my corsair link that my cpu temp is in the 80c while the gpu is in the 30s is that a problem
any help in this matter will be appreciated

i had a 2700x when they released and with a monoblock cooling it and the board the cpu would hit its max boost of 4.35ghz but would hit high 80's under heavy load, gaming wasnt as bad mid 70's ish but i found the cpu too warm for me, so switched back to intels 8600k until my 7900k arrived, the 10 core i have now is overclocked to 4.6ghz and never hits above 70 under heavy load, thats cooled by my new monoblock.

have you got a aio or a custom loop, either way remove the cpu cooler and re apply thermal paste and make sure the block is making good contact and check the spread of your thermal materal, if all checks out and its still warm, just keep any eye on it and go about yor everyday pc needs, just keep an eye on your temps and if they are spiking you may want to return the cpu and try a second one if your able to

You probably have but it's worth checking that you have the inlet to the cpu block correctly set up. A block has a correct inlet and outlet, reverse them and temps will be poor. If it has changeable jet plates is the right one installed?
