Any of you nice members out there ever get worried by the temps of these drives, I've just installed two of these and have noticed they are quite hot to the touch, a lot hotter than any previous drives I've had before. I don't want to add an intake fan to push cold air over them as I like a pretty quiet PC, am I better to get a couple of silent drive enclosures with small fans built in to dissipate the heat, and would this do the trick?

dude i certainly recommend getting a fan on them.

Id not bother with them enclosures, just get a fan and put it on 7v and it will be fine. Id not risk them temps with data especially on drives as big as 500gb. I am sure you would be as gutted as i was if i lost the data on those size drivers.
